You’ll notice there’s not much room for advertising on our website. That’s deliberate.
We don’t want our website to be a jumble of ads that intermingle with the news, blurring lines and fragmenting readers’ attention. We trust that serious readers of LGBT news are–like readers of The New Yorker and The Economist–seeking information, not diversion; and efficiency, not overload. But in limiting our ad space, we also limit the competition between ads for readers’ attention. Rather than seeing seven, ten, or more ads per page, readers on Keen News see two.
